Wrenches
We supply three types of wrench:
- Heavy-duty Pipe Wrenches
- Heavy-duty Chain Wrenches
- Full-circle Wrenches
Heavy-duty Pipe Wrenches are manufactured with drop-forged steel jaws, hardened and tempered for superior wear resistance. The handle is a one-piece ductile iron casting, guaranteed against breakage. Available in sizes 12", 14" 18", 36" and 48".
Heavy-duty Chain Wrenches are provided with jaws manufactured from hardened and tempered drop-forged steel. Only the front set of teeth bear on the pipe and when these become worn the jaws can be reversed, doubling the service life of the tool. The handles are tubular steel attached to a solid ductile iron casting. Spare chains are available to increase the pipe capacity of the wrench. Available in nominal pipe sizes 2 1/2", 4", 6" and 8".
Full-circle Wrenches are designed for joining and breaking joints of thin-walled bits, core barrel and casing tubes without risk of damage to the threads. The jaws are knurled and case-hardened internally for a good grip. Available for outside tube diameters of 46 - 146 mm. One pair of wrenches is needed for breaking and joining threads.
