Steel Casing Tubes: Metric Series

Metric series casing is manufactured from very high tensile cold drawn tube to exacting dimensional and mechanical specifications.

The tubes are much thinner than the DCDMA X-series and W-series casing and forms a tighter nested seies of sizes.

This casing is designed to be used in conjunction with metric core barrels, TT, T2 and T6 series. For example, a T2-101 core barrel will drill a 101 mm dia. hole which can be cased with 101 casing (98 mm OD x 89 mm ID). This casing will then accept the next core barrel in the series, in this case the T2-86, to continue coring further.

Casing is available in lengths of 0.5m, 1.0m, 1.5m and 3.0m, or alternative lengths can be manufactured to order.

Tungsten carbide and diamond tipped casing shoes and bits are available for each size, and casing drive adaptors with connections to suit most types of drill rod.
