B series single tube core barrels are suitable for coring in concrete or for softer formations where no core examination is required.
These core barrels are available in metric sizes 46 - 146 mm.
The core barrel is fully extendable. Several core tubes can be connected together to extend the barrel to the required length.
When drilling through difficult overburden, metric casing tubes should be used to prevent the borehole from collapsing
Each core barrel consists of a Head Coupling, Core Tube, Blank Reaming Shell and Corelifter. Diamond impregnated core bits are recommended when using B barrels. Core Bits are sold separately.
